What is a flamingo surprise ?
It's a surprise flamingo yard display set up in somebody's yard as a funny unique gift to celebrate a birthday, anniversary, retirement and more. We flock the yard with these pink plastic birds while they are sleeping, or away at work, or out of town. You tell us how to create the best surprise!
We have lots of party decorations in addition to flamingos.
How much does it cost?
Our flamingo displays start at $175.00 for Minneapolis and St. Paul. Additional zone fee may apply for other locations. Call us for an exact price quote. The price includes delivery and set up and retrieval of about 50 yard decorations, a six foot yard banner and personalized card message on the door.
Where do you deliver?
We deliver within a 50 mile radius of Minneapolis, MN to residential lawns, select corporate locations and indoor office locations. We serve Minneapolis, Saint Paul and Twin Cities suburbs, MN.
When do you deliver?
We generally show up after dark to set up the display during hours when the recipient is sleeping, but we can also schedule daytime deliveries.
Can I make an appointment for a specific time?
Our delivery hours are 9 pm to 9 am. We guarantee delivery by 9 am on the day of your birthday surprise or special occasion.
Do you deliver on Holidays?
Yes! We deliver every day of the year.
What about rain and snow?
Our dedicated drivers brave the elements to deliver in rainy and snowy weather. If the driving conditions are dangerously bad however, the delivery may be delayed until driving conditions are safe. (During extreme storms, high winds, blizzards or extreme sub-zero weather.)
How much advance notice do you need?
We book our lawn displays first come first serve. We suggest you plan a week or more in advance to ensure we can provide the items you desire. We can often book deliveries on short notice, even same day notice, but we cannot always guarantee that. Give us call for the quickest answers to your questions.
When do you pick up?
The scene stays up all day for the day you have requested. We come back after dark or the next day to pick it up. You may request a longer rental time (if supplies are available,) for an additional fee. Let us know how long you would like the yard display to remain.
How do you create a lawn event without alerting the recipient?
Our professionals have lots of experience and arrive after dark when everyone is sleeping. They are quiet and quick. Please let us know about their nighttime habits to help us surprise him or her more effectively. Barking dogs at the residence can awaken the recipient. If someone at the home is "in on it," they may be able to keep the dog in a spot overnight where it won't wake up.
What happens if you get caught?
It happens extremely infrequently, but our staff is trained to assess the situation, act politely and to try to keep the secret intact. Even if the intended recipient catches them, he or she just gets the flaming surprise a little earlier than expected.
What if something goes missing?
The buyer is responsible to pay a replacement fee for any damaged or missing items.
What about cancellation?
All sales are final. Please make your decision before booking your yard display. In case of emergency, we can reschedule your delivery for a different day, (with 24 hours advance notice,) at no additional charge.
